First visit to Broadway Christian Church?

Maybe we can answer some of your questions...

Broadway Christian ChurchWhat time is Sunday worship?
Traditional services are at 8:00 and 9:45am in the main building. Contemporary services are in building 2 (Family Life Center) at 9:00 and 10:30am. You will be greeted at the door and handed a weekly bulletin. Be sure to look it over to see what’s coming up at BCC. Fill out the Welcome Card inside the bulletin and either place it in the offering plate or take it to the Welcome Desk after the service. This information gives us an idea of what interests you and gives you an idea of what we have to offer.

What should I wear?
If you’re comfortable, so are we! People wear anything from shorts and sandals to business casual. We all feel we are here to worship, not to be concerned about how someone is dressed.

What about my kids?
For children 4 months to kindergarten we have a nursery, located off the lobby of the main church building. Our check-in system ensures your child’s security and safety. The nursery is open for all Sunday services and many church functions. Our trained staff will make your child’s visit a fun, positive experience. Of course, if you prefer to take your infant into service with you, they are welcome.

For older children from first through sixth grade, PATHways is in the Children's Area in BLDG. 1 at 9:00 and 10:30am. Our curriculum is designed to engage your child in an exciting and fun environment while they learn more about God and His love for them.

Junior High students meet on Sundays at 10:30am and Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:00 pm for worship and activities. Various camps, retreats and off campus activities are scheduled throughout the year.

High School students meet on Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30 pm. Various camps, retreats, missions trips and off campus activities are scheduled throughout the year.

How do I connect with others at BCC?
After services stop at the Welcome Desk and get information on the many ministries, classes, prayer and life groups we offer. There’s something for everyone and surely a place for your interests.

What's the difference between "traditional" and "contemporary" worship?
In our Traditional worship service we sing accompanied by organ and piano music. In the Contemporary worship service we utilize a full band with guitars, keyboard and drums, and sing more modern songs. The message is the same at each service. Whichever service you attend, as a guest, we don't expect you to give a donation.

Where do I park?
Entering from Broadway Road you can access parking next to and behind the church building. Overflow street parking is available to the west of us on Rowan Avenue, or in uncovered parking at Springdale. We also have parking off of 74th Place, to the east of the main church building.
