Spanish Church
The Spanish church is making plans to begin again with a morning service as soon as the construction is completed. The Spanish leadership team has been praying for the opportunity to reach many more Hispanics with the word and hopefully the Spirit will draw many more into a vital relationship with Christ. Please pray that we will be effective in reaching out to many in the neighborhood who seek to know the truth about the love of Father and the redeeming work of the Son and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

Plans are also being made to begin a rehabilitation center that will be using the Celebrate Recovery program in Spanish to minister to the lost in Imuris, Mexico. This is a much needed ministry in this area and this program has had remarkable success here in the U.S. and with careful planning and the guidance of the Holy Spirit it will be a success in Mexico as well. Please pray that the doors will be opened for this wonderful opportunity to make a difference in a country that needs the hope that is only found in Christ.

AICM (American Indian Christian Mission) aicm.org/
The Elders have recently decided to begin sponsoring the Indian mission in Show Low again due to the recent leadership change and a refocus of the leadership of the mission. This summer Brian Luney and I (Joel) attended the annual meeting at the mission and were very impressed with the leadership's focus on reaching not only the children but making a much greater effort in reaching the parents of the kids as well.

Patrick Lester is the new director at the mission and he has helped to bring the spiritual vitality of the mission to a level that was not evident in the staff (from my perspective) in the past. Patrick has emphasized from the beginning that each person on staff needs to rely more on the Holy Spirit and be cultivating their relationship with Christ and each other in order to be a greater influence on these children and their families at the mission. Please pray that Patrick and the rest of the staff continue to be guided by the Spirit as they build truth into the lives of these children every week. Pray that the bus ministry that goes out every weekend reaches many more children with the love and hope that is only found in Christ.

Timothy House (Casa Timoteo) tihmin.org/blog/
Bob and Joy Huber are the directors of this orphanage in Imuris, Mexico that we had the privilege recently of visiting. We took a team of 13 people who helped paint a two room school house inside and out. We also laid down some epoxy in the dining room so that clean up after dinner will be much easier. The kids enjoyed the water games we played with them and also the lesson time was great as the kids participated by singing and answering questions. We enjoyed listening as well to the kids recite 2 Timothy, chapter 2 which they had recently memorized.

Please pray that Bob and Joy continue to be guided by the Spirit as they minister in Mexico to these wonderful children and for their hearts respond to the wooing of the Holy Spirit that calls each one of them to be a child of God. Also pray that BCC will be able to continue to minister to these children and help to ensure a more hopeful future for each one of them.
