Discipleship
Living the Christian life will be a struggle because we battle with truly knowing and understanding the God who has rescued us from the darkness and brought us into the light. Theology is a word that is mainly used around college campuses, but we are all Theologians because to be one you merely need to have an idea of who you think God is and what he is like. In that sense, to think theologically is to think about God.
As a Christian there are doctrines (teachings) that have guided believers throughout the centuries, so that we can know our theology conforms to who God has revealed himself to be in Scripture from Genesis to Revelations.
Through discipleship, a person can begin to share with another individual in the journey that will transform their lives. Only by truly understanding who God has revealed himself to be do we begin to live life with confident submission to his will. We must never give up trying to figure out what we believe, why we believe it, and why it matters.
Please join me in this grand adventure as our lives are forever changed through the grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
